Speech Language Pathologist
Full-time position in Hayward, CA
Duties: Evaluate patients based upon the physician referral/orders; develop effective speech/language treatment plans with functional, goal-based outcomes and ensure approval /orders for services from referring physician; treat patients according to speech/language treatment plan; supervise Speech Language Therapist Assistants & therapy students in direct patient care to carry out plan of care & patient related activities per state practice act & reimbursement regulations; record clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelines; communicate with supervisor & other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans; and participating in discharge planning.
Requirements: BS in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, 36 months of experience as Speech Language Pathologist, and current Speech Pathologist license from the CA Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
